Just my opinion........

but, I completely disagree with Phil and DJ. Reed and Gumbo will likely not be missed along with the other has beens/never weres. I think Phil handled the news conference as well as he could and all of the defectors should brace themselves for conferences like this. The questions, as you say, were pretty brutal and I suspect the knives will likely get sharper as they have more time and material. Not really sure what to expect from the galleries but, I think the best defectors will get will be muted disdain with over the top vocal support for the guys who have spurned LIV. I think most have vastly underestimated how their decision will be received and the playing environment at least in PGA/Independent events will be challenging. Going to be interesting to see the attendance at all LIV events, particularly the U.S. based ones.
