Saw Styx last month in DC and Buddy Guy a few weeks ago

I had tickets for The Mission concert two years ago and held on. I was rewarded when they played at the Warner in DC. Outstanding show. The vocals and playing were outstanding, and the energy was unreal. They are really killing it these days. They played the entire The Mission album, took a break, and came back and rocked for another hour +.

Buddy Guy was definitely a bucket list show because Buddy is close to the bucket. Show was great - at 86 he still has a strong voice and plays great with a great stage show, but he's about 135# and looks like a stick figure - even worse next to 300#+ Kingfish. Great show, though.

Going to see Styx/Loverboy/REO again this Summer. REO is entirely 50/50 based on Kevin Cronin's voice any night.
