A touching thought for the pilots of the UPS plane crash

Adam Kinzinger (if you recognize the name from anything non-aviation-related, ignore that) posted this, and man, did I shed a tear or two at the thought. Absolutely tragic situation. Regardless of what happened leading up to the accident (and there will be plenty of questions, answers, and anger to come in the following weeks/months), these pilots gave it everything they had. Even with an engine missing, the pilots kept the aircraft wings level, nose up. They were fighting like hell to get that plane under control and eventually down safely, or at least avoid as many ground casualties as possible. They never gave up until things were truly out of their control. I'm no pilot, but that seems like exceptional airmanship to me, which their colleagues and families should certainly be proud of. RIP to these pilots and those killed on the ground. ** Edited by TechHokie13 at 11/8/2025, 9:19:09 PM
