My 2020 Ford Explorer started "bucking" on me at low RPM's and I was

thinking it was a fuel issue. They suggested it was possibly a transmission issue and so they started by doing a transmission service (new fluid and filter, anti-shutter treatment) and when they drained it the fluid was black. 60,000 miles on this car. I'll have to wait to see if this improves the issue but I'm thinking this is just the beginning of a very expensive process. I'm really thinking of getting rid of it, but I've had excellent experience in my multiple explorers in the past. Maybe jump to a pickup instead. Hhmmm what to do.

I had a Subaru sedan in 1993. Tranny problems started around 80k miles.
