Speaking of rockers, I found a cool site with historical concert info
I saw a random post about the band Montrose and remembered seeing them when they were promoting their "Montrose" album. I knew Ronnie Montrose played with Edgar winter but not much else. today I learned a young Sammy Hagar was in the group when I saw them.
Steppenwolf was headliner and opening act was Average White Band. Cost was $5. I saw a ton of concerts at Greensboro and Roanoke/Salem civic center. What a great time for music.
