? for the lounge: Do certified vehicles count when determining valuation?..
We have a vehicle that has been determined to be a total loss. The other driver is 100% at fault (our vehicle was parked in it's parking spot). Yesterday we received the valuation from the insurance company and we think it's low. Our vehicle was Honda Certified and still had 4 years left on the policy. Should this be taken into account when determining the valuation of the vehicle?
I would think so since Honda Certified is transferrable to the new owner and we would have receive a premium if we sold our vehicle the day before the accident.
All expert opinions and lounge worthiness replies are appreciated. Thanks!
