We've got 2 ausse-holes (aussies) that we do love and have seen these pop a couple of times. Specifically looking at the larger yoga-ball sized balls. I think they would enjoy it but am a bit concerned about their durability. One of them has already popped the SO's yoga ball, so they do have a history. There is also a fairly significant price difference on what's available on Amazon ($30 - $100, median seems to be about $60).
