I finished watching it last night. I have never played any of the Fallout games but I am vaguely familiar with them. It's my understanding the series narrative has nothing to do with any of the game storylines, but pulls elements from the games to tell a new story. I found it kind of pulled you along to see what was going to happen next, until it reached the big climax. And then when you look back at what happened before, there are some real head scratchers in the script. Plus, there was some weird 'plot armor' and wound healing stuff that I figure must come from the game. No one seemed to feel a lot of pain from extreme physical trauma. Characters were OK, with a big exception for Walton Goggins's Ghoul, which was excellent. Goggins makes everything he's in much better.
