Main Street Inn needs a repair man
tl;dr version: lots of busted things for high cost hotel room.
Since 2015, Wifey and I have enjoyed staying at Main Street Inn for our annual summertime tubing trip. Sometimes we come down for a basketball or baseball game too. We're willing to pay the price for convenience of walking to dinner downtown.
Last year, the shower doors were off track and I had to fix them to use the shower. The toilet seat only had one bolt in it. And I had to adjust the floater mechanism so the toilet wouldn't run all night.
Last weekend's trip started with a luggage cart with 3 flat tires (Wifey packs kitchen sink). I fixed that with Ryobi inflator that we keep in car. First thing we found in the room was that the alarm clock buttons were all smashed in and nonfunctional. It would've blinked all night which is unacceptable and unfortunate because it had two A/C plugs on top that would've been convenient for my travel fan. Then we see what is left of the smoke alarm is just two uncapped wires hanging out of the ceiling. Finally, when I went to get ice for drinks, the ice machine was out of order. I had to walk to 7-11 and carry back ice.
I normally don't do reviews but they are pushing my limits on inconveniences in the room versus convenience of their location.
Dinner reviews: Friday night it was deserted at Maroon Door. Appetizers were a bit overcooked. They made last call at 9:15 and locked the front door. The Cellar was slammed on Friday. On Saturday, they had three open tables when we got there. Good service and terrific house special pizza. Dinner was half the cost of Maroon Door. Rising Silo was very crowded on Friday. Lots of screaming kids and two dogs near us that never experienced discipline. Eastern Divide was packed on Saturday afternoon. Very chill, lots of people playing card games, and tasty Los Mas.
Oh, and get off my lawn!

Do a Google review and rip them. That usually gets people's attention.
