So you pack the essential toiletries, one pair of comfy shoes that are on your feet, pack nothing but quick-drying synthetic clothes, and he teaches you how to do laundry in a hotel room. You can see some of the teenage girls (and just to be fair, a few of the boys too) start twitching at the idea of a 2-week tour of Europe with nothing but a carry-on. But it can be done. It takes some re-thinking of how you pack and what you need to take with you, but it can be done. I didn't go on the trip myself, but after seeing his how-to-pack seminar, I definitely pack very differently myself for trips. I got a travel backpack myself and haven't used anything but that for a trip in three years now.
