I don't share many stories from my radio days gone by...mostly because they are days gone by. Most of them feel like 100 years ago. I'll share this one though. Back in 1982...I saw the CS&N "Daylight Again" tour. Front row seats...courtesy of Atlantic Records...and that was cool! Had the opportunity to go back stage to meet the guys after the show. Stephen Stills was sitting cross-legged on the floor...just sort of staring off into space. Graham Nash was mostly interested in the radio company big shots...and that's cool...as that's mostly what that bit was for. David Crosby was the most social of the three. As I walked into the cramped room...he handed me a cold Heineken...slapped me on the shoulder...and said: "C'mon in. Relax." I have a ticket stub somewhere with three autographs on it. Somewhere.
