Just encountered a "big green" avocado for the first time at the grocery...

...store last night. I never even knew they existed until about 18 hours ago, and now they come up here on the lounge. Weird. On a related note, we currently have a hass avocado tree growing in a pot on our patio. It sprouted out of an avocado seed thrown into our compost bin. It will never survive the winter here in central VA, so it's all yours if you want to come pick it up. TIC
