They've done a lot of sprint weekends (including this weekend), so most of those probably won't be Sprint weekends. Mercedes brought a bunch of upgrades to Canada, and it appears they've just regained the gap they had over the field at the beginning of the year. If Sprint qually is any indication, current team performance is: (1) Mercedes (clear advantage over the field) (2) McLaren (3) Ferrari (4) RBR That's basically what we've seen so far this season. The only time it was close was when the other teams brought upgrades to close the gap with Mercedes in the last race, but that's gone. Did anyone see the aero upgrades Mercedes brought this weekend? Pretty wild stuff that looked like it came from the aerospace industry.
