Want to know a secret? It's really hot in the Keys during the summer!
It's so hot, the shallow water at the beaches are also hot. You have to go out further into the water to find cooler water for heat relief.
I never had much of a tan during the summer when I lived in the Keys. I always wore a t-shirt whenever I snorkeled or dove. I also went from my air-conditioned car to my air-conditioned BOQ room or workplace.
That's probably why rental prices in the Keys are lowest during the summer...lol
