Find support for your value by either....

Going on carmax, cargurus, autotrader, etc for comparable cars for sale price or if you pay property tax on the car you can see what the state/county has assessed the value of the car. Use the highest value and provide service records showing why yours should be given the highest value. That has worked for me. Glad you are ok and hope this helps.
