Welp, DonHos Boxter 718 got run over by a jacked up pickup truck who was

Trying to make a light before it turned red. Never had an airbag blow up in my face , and hope to never have another. I was blessed to walk away with no injuries. Insurance company totaled it and is now trying to lowball me on value. Grrrrrr. Anyone had experience with appeals process in that situation? I. E. I get an appraisal and they the same who both try to reach an agreement. If not an “ umpire” makes the call. Waste of time? Worth the expense?
