I'm curious about future engines. I have a feeling the "350" V6 will be...

...replaced by a higher power turbo-4 making about the same 311 hp. Rumors say the next "base" Tacoma engine will be a turbo-4 putting out just over 300 hp, and their "premium" will have that same engine, but with an additional hybrid set up putting out close to 400 hp. I wouldn't be surprised if they will be the powertrains for the IS-350 and IS-500. But you never know...the Tundra is getting a twin turbo V6 so that might go into the top of the line car. But there isn't a ton of extra room under the hood of those Lexus cars, so that might not be feasible.
