We used to get a Crutchfield tractor trailer, or two, to the FedEx ramp at

RIC during the weeks leading up to Christmas when I worked there in 94 and 95. (Shortly after I left the Navy, I started at FedEx working the ramp for18months sorting freight and loading planes from midnight to 7a for 17-35hrs/wk @7.85/hr 😉) During the 95 Christmas "Peak" we were experiencing a huge theft issue, particularly from the Crutchfield items. During that Peak we hired temps from an agency to help load trucks. Turned out, the temps unloading the Crutchfield truck would drop the occasional item into the gap between the dock and the truck trailer and their friends would be hiding outside (extremely dark, midnight to 3a time frame) and grab the keyboards, radios, and other stuff. They were eventually caught. I've used Crutchfield a number of times - good prices, great instructions, great prewired pigtails, etc... makes for easy installs.
