Given that we are learning that many of those people were actively undermined and/or pressured to alter their remarks/findings I'm hesitant to label them liars. You aren't b/c it fits your narrative. Either way it was nowhere near as widespread as you would have people believe. That's not "minimizing" it. That's putting it in the appropriate scale especially compared to public ignorance and/or refusal to accept expert opinions. Also my "silliness" comment was very clearly directed at your dumb comment about "fame" being some sort of factor. That is silly.
