Just looking for a standard form factor.
Take a PC's ATX form factor as a great example of what I'm talking about.
Per the linked article, you have the ATX, MicroATX and Mini-ITX motherboard sizes. As technology grows, chips change/improve, RAM changes/improves, but the form factor stays the same.
I think this should be the case with battery packs for EVs and hybrids. Settle on standard sizes, and require that for all vehicles sold in America.
