Machine vision looks for differences in temp that look like snakes

Including a long uniformity of temp the contrasts with surroundings. Does not have to be looking for heat. Can be looking for a heat sink as well. Also IR does not just show differences in temp, it also shows differences in reflectivity. For instance, for decades IR has been used in forestry and agriculture for doing thinks like tree canopy inventories and looking at crop health. It can also tell the difference in a tree and a tank painted to look like a tree.
