hmm....I feel like the stepped down version would work for us....

3 to 4 people most of the time....rarely have more than 3 or 4 "streams" of any sort going on at any one time....I think I'd also just buy a modem outright... I know "they" recently put fiber in our 'hood. I guess I need to look into that as well.

Most people poopoo on XFintity, but it's worked great for us for 7 years.
