war diaries... on board that the Ex.O. was to duty bound carry off-board and keep safe for history... they say that a Vindicator and a B-26 (actually) just barely scored glancing hits on 2 Carriers (CV's) early on during the Midway spawned raids. not much damage... one one blew up a few cabins and the other one was even less effective and hit a corner of the flight deck. Though... who; knew?!? They really need to find any survivors or next of kin and pin a Medal on them. 1,ooo b.street p.s. +one for you sense of timing, too...
