There is a shortage of specialists due to amount in HHS funding

2/3 of residences for doctors to learn specialties following med school are through Medicare funding. The majority of medical fellowship funds is government through HHS and VA. With the aging of America we need more docs and NPs and PAs but how to pay for this. As I remember from first day of Econ on the board as I sat down: TNSTAAFL (Something about free lunch)
