Vietnam or Korea War by chance? The reason I ask is there is semi-obscure
Veteran's benefit called "Aid and Attendance" that he could qualify to receive. There are some parameters involved, but I have seen cases where Veterans who served during a time of conflict can get up to $2,000 a month extra.
