^^ This. ^^ Haven't seen any "modern" film match up with Dune ...
... since maybe Inception, and that was in like 2011. And before Inception there was ..... zero, zip, zilch, nada -- in any genre. Gotta go back to about 1990 for Red October to start finding decent movies.
Well, I did kinda like Invictus (2009) about the South Africa rugby World Cup.
