...replace all humans at many jobs yet because it is not "sentient" (not yet, at least). Currently it is simply consuming as much information from the internet as it can, processing it, and then using it to form responses or prepare documents summarizing information. It seems to have gotten very good at doing that,.and I recognize that this is a useful tool that can save a lot of time and allow human workers to focus on other tasks. However, included in what AI has "learned" is a whole bunch of garbage information on the internet, which then gets included in its responses, just like in this situation. It seems to me that a human is still needed to review whatever response/summary that AI produces. I realize people way smarter than me are aware of that problem and are surely working on it, but consider me skeptical that humans can ever replicate in a machine the innate reasoning capabilities of their own brains.
