But being the state, you just know the business is mis-managed.
I lived in a state with private stores. Mom & Pop neighborhood people made nice livings. It was business.
ABCs have a DMV feel to them which I do admittedly like (no nonsense. Go in, get your booze, and leave).
Private stores are waaaaay cheesier. Middle Eastern bazaar meets 7-11 meets Buc-ees. LOL
But I bet my bourbon would be $2 cheaper.
Competition is the master of all commerce.
