Sure. Google "Cactus Hill" and Nottoway River and "pre-clovis man"

one of our soils profs (can't remember his name) did research there that proved man was on the banks of the nottoway approx 15,000 yrs ago (previous thoughts were that man crossed Bering Straits approx 5,000 yrs ago.... tripling the time frame. Fragments matched exactly fragments found in Spain from the same era.

The prof is/was a friend of my father-in-law.
