...beginning. Their reliability was "so so," and they were down on power to Mercedes. That drove Honda to declare they were dropping out of F1 to focus on EV and hybrid cars (for the street). Then the unexpected happened, Max won a F1 championship. Honda decided leaving F1 (now that they were winning championships) was a bad idea, and decided to stay. I think they chalked up another 3 F1 championships with a very close 2nd place finish last season. I'm sure the engineers at Honda will eventually work this out, even if they have to twist Newey's arm to change the body to make their best engine design fit. But that's not happening this season. Honda will eventually figure out how to make this configuration more reliable, but I don't see AM fighting for the F1 championship this season. But on a lighter note, Cadillac will finally enter F1. I think they decided to enter because F1 cars have a lot of fins, and that fits their design philosophy...lol
