The numbers are Panama ($19369), Costa Rica ($17860), Belize($8133), Guatemala($6295), El Salvador($5607), Honduras($3446), Nicaragua ($2878) The canal has no doubt been a big contributor to Panama’s GDP. Costa Rica’s relative wealth comes from its long term political stability. The other five are quite poor.
