I worked in the UK for a while

Winter in Buckden was bleak. You had a little sun between 0930 and 1430, but it got dark quick in the afternoon. I'd be back from being in windowless building all day and run in the dark at about 1530, often with wind whipping at me sideways in 33 degree wet flurries. Blech.
