We had an 86 GLC and 95 Legacy
GLC broke down in Chain Bridge at rush - this is actually how I got to know my future wife as we worked in the same building and she needed a ride to work for a while. It also broke down on us 2 miles outside of Bald Eagle, PA about 3 years and 5000 miles later - timing chain both times. The Legacy was actually a pretty vehicle until the master seal started to leak. Never could get it to stop. That was a common problem for the Legacies and Outbacks of the era. Best AWD I've ever driven, though.
