Just a heads up, but do a web search for broadcast towers in you area...
...before buying an antenna. It will tell you if you need an omni directional antenna, or a directional antenna. There are a few websites you can use...maybe look for an OTA antenna guide.
I was pretty lucky that most of our antennas are in the same area due west of here, so I went with a directional antenna.
Most broadcasts are in the UHF range, but you might have a VHF outlier. Most OTA antennas only cover UHF, so you probably won't need a VHF "add on" antennal. (We had one here, but they switched to UHF last fall.)
