I would like to see EVs & hybrids have a standard for the battery

Designate a length, width and depth for a battery unit. It doesn't have to be one size, but minimize the number of different battery packs a EV or hybrid may have. Also have a voltage standards. Prefer "plug and play" battery packs. When a manufacturer designs a new EV/Hybrid, they decide how many of those battery packs (& what voltage) they want to install in their car. Light vehicles (like the Nissan Leaf) might only have one, where something like the Hummer EV might have 4 or 5. Hopefully that would make replacement battery packs cheaper by allowing 3rd party battery suppliers to get in the game. Also someone like Chevrolet ($28K Volt replacement battery) or BMW ($75K i3 replacement battery) won't screw their customers over after their car has been discontinued. If there is a battery standard, then anyone can supply replacements.
