Yep, most of the houses I've seen survived have a story where they or their

neighbor stayed and helped put out embers and flames that fell on the homes or nearby. While not every house could have been saved, many more could have if they didn't run out of water and/or had a larger presence of firefighters. And, some of these videos said they rarely saw firefighters in their neighborhood. I know they couldn't be everywhere, but the response overall was not ideal.
