on Monday zipping around heavy on the accelerator in my '98 Ford Explorer in 101+ degree heat and the son-of-gun started stalling on me as I accelerated. Checking the temperature gauge, a "check engine light", fuel gauge, etc. as I drifted into 7/11. None of those were suspect. Fuel pump or filter?- no, I had them replaced a couple of years ago. I waited a few minutes and it started right up and I drove gingerly home suspecting the hot weather. Stumped, I went to AI . . . "Vapor Lock". Been driving like a top since. Never ever encountered that before.
