My dad would visit my nephew and pull up in his truck and nephew would run to the door all excited, pointing and banging on the stormdoor "Truck!". One day they were just roaming around the house and my nephew pointed at my dad and said "Truck!". Henceforth, my dad was Truck. Everyone in the family called him Truck. We named my first son after my dad. He grew up calling him Truck. One Sunday lunch over at my parents, we were sitting in the living room and (dad, son, me, other family members) and I said "Hey, Dean..." to get my dad's attention and my son (probably about 3 at this point) looked at me quizzically, looked at dad quizzically, and stated "That not Dean, I Dean!
