+1 on Lafitte's
That was the final leg of our Ghost Tour.
I was there for training and we had a real mix of folks from experienced (me) to newbies (most really young). This one poor girl looked like she was just out of college and was not with the "party scene" during her years at school. We were being handed drinks at each bar we stopped at between ghost tour spots. We walked out of the bar, each with a Hurricane, and I could tell she was struggling. I saddled up to her and discreetly asked if she was enjoying her drink and she said she was not a big drinker but didn't want to offend our host (she was Asian). I told her to just hold on to her drink at each spot and once I was done to just pour it into my cup as we left.
My god, I'm lucky I made it back alive. Last stop was Old Absinthe for some...absinthe. I don't think I've been drunker at NO than that night and I know my liver never recovered. She saw me the next day and thanked me for helping her out the previous night.
