Bought a KVM switch, so it's time to see if I can get my PC working again
Haven't installed it yet...maybe tonight? Maybe tomorrow. I'll see if I can "un-brick" my PC that Microsoft's tech support "bricked" last year. Once it's running, will reset my BIOS to the original factory settings to see if that will allow my Linux SSD to load. Microsoft had me make a "security" change to the BIOS (secure boot?) when I loaded Win11, and that seemed to prevent my Linux SSD from working.
If that doesn't work, I'll buy another MOBO from Amazon that I can transfer the components (CPU, RAM, video card, SSD_. If my current Linux Mint loaded SSD still won't load on it, I'll do a clean load with Cinnamon Mint.
I thought about buying a laptop to run Linux, but why spend that much when a new MOBO is a tenth of the price?
Fingers crossed!
