beater that we used for the usual occasions when we needed to haul stuff we didn't want in our cars. It was only used every month or two, it sat outside so it usually had something that need to be fixed whenever we wanted to use it. Plus the critters love to chew on cars left unattended for long periods. We have two cars we can use when range is an issue, but I can see this being used for short trips and the occasional need to haul stuff. I very much like the idea of being able to start with a bare bones vehicle and not paying for a bunch of stuff that has no value to me. I'd first have to see if I fit in one (I'm 6'-4") and I would have to reconcile having to sell my 40 year old 944 to make garage space. They are currently saying a bare bones example would be under $30K. I'm curious.
