Well, why would we?
We've been there, done that, and got the t-shirt. The moon really isn't all that interesting. If there is anything valuable on it, it isn't worth enough to justify the expense of getting it back to earth. And we've already gotten most of the useful scientific knowledge we're going to get from the moon. Until/unless the moon becomes a useful waystation for deeper space travel, there really isn't a compelling reason to ever go back.
