F1 GP at Catalunya is in the books, with a great story.

Lewis Hamilton wins for the first time in a Ferrari, beating George Russell and Lando Norris on (gasp) a good strategy call by Ferrari, and a little luck. Hamilton was on a 3 stop strategy while Mercedes were on a 2 stop, but a late virtual safety car came at just the right time to give Lewis a free final pit stop from the lead. With fresher tires, the Mercs couldn’t mount a charge against him. As karma, luck, law of averages, or the racing gods would have it, George benefited from an electrical failure on Kimi’s car. Maybe George’s run of bad luck is finally coming to a close. Bad news for Kimi, but he still leads the championship by more than a race victory. Only 14 cars finished the race, showing that this new set of regs is proving to be a tough nut to crack. Charles Leclerc was the final retirement with a power steering issue, so that extends his DNF streak. I’m sure he wants that streak to end.
