Yeah, I agree....

What you learn day one in an economics class "Inflation is too much money chasing too few goods" which is different than the price of a particular good going up or down in relation to demand or scarcity. So to no one's surprise at all who have taken an "Overview of Economics" when you hand out trillions of dollars gratis, you get inflation. The long term effect of this is pernicious as people will build into their mindset that this could happen again which in turn adds more inflation, that's the harder part, getting their trust back again.
