Chelsea basically not getting punished for cheating using Russian oligarchy money that was tied to Putin is the latest sign that England has sold its soul. Yet they give massive point deductions to clubs who struggle financially and can't make ends meet. Spurs finished 2nd behind Chelsea in 2017. Seven points behind. And those 6-7 players in question were absolutely the difference. So it's not all about how the cheating affected Chelsea...it affected everyone else, too. It's also a sign that nothing will happen to Man City, and only the most ardent of City fans would say they haven't cheated their tails off. It's actually why they've gotten less talented the last few years...they are trying to stay out of the spotlight and adhere to the rules now because they are in the spotlight. They weren't in the spotlight when they were cheating. What needs to happen is the other EFL clubs band together and take legal action against clubs that do stuff like that, and perhaps against the governing bodies themselves. If the governing bodies aren't doing anything about it (probably because they are bribed), then the clubs should take it into their own hands.
