The duck pond froze over pretty well this year...

I went by there just about every day, and quite a few people were out there walking on it, but I never saw anyone with skates. (VT had "Stay off the Ice" signs posted next to the pond for what it's worth).

Haven't seen much about ice skating on the Duck Pond. Is that still a thing
