Jesse Jackson was on my flight back from Paris to the U.S.
This was in summer of 2022, so a few years ago. He was in a wheelchair and looked pretty frail even then, if I'm being honest. The crew boarded him first, understandably, as he had to be wheeled down the jetway.
When we got to Chicago, he was sitting all by himself in the wheelchair at baggage claim. I thought about asking him if he needed any help but he seemed to have an entourage on the plane and I was juggling 3 kids + my own luggage so wasn't gonna be easy. RIP Rev. Jackson. You lived a life of courage.
