Probably best to shop for how it will be used...
I watch both streaming and OTA broadcasts, and was told that Sony and Panasonic are best for "upscaling" SD broadcasts (that is useful for a lot of the OTA broadcasts). I went with the Sony because I could source one locally. I think Panasonics were only available from online retailers (like Amazon).
