Yep. I ditched my 46" 2008 Samsung back in the fall. Couldn't revive it.

Bought it at Circuit City a couple of weeks before they announced they were going out of business. Every few years it wouldn't turn on. Took it to the TV repair shop each time and they replaced some board (about $150) and it was good again for a few years. About the best electronic purchase I've ever made. I replaced it with a 48" Sony Bravia from Best Buy and am satisfied with it so far. Also have a 2023 43" Insignia that is fine. Didn't shop around and just bought them both out of necessity. Have no particular likes or dislikes about either.

Probably best to shop for how it will be used...

The cheapest one I can find. I bought a 55" for $189 in September.
