The only way I am able to do it currently is to link to an image that is...
...already posted elsewhere on the web. The function that allows you to include an image that you upload from your PC/device has been broken for many of us for months.
What's really annoying about using a URL to an existing web image is that there does not seem to be a way to do so when you first make a post. So, you have to submit your post without the image, then click on your post and select "Edit", and then you should see an option to include a URL to an image. Paste the link in that text box and then submit your edited post, and the image should show up.
